Born and raised in Saginaw Michigan, Jackie moved to the Lansing area in 1978. She has one daughter, and has been a member of St. Mary Parish since 1979. Jackie also volunteers with several organizations that serve physically and mentally challenged adults and children.
Jackie began her career with Michigan National Bank. As Retail Banking Manager, she was responsible for all changes impacting Branch Operations such as new products, system conversions, and compliance/regulatory changes, including contact with government regulators.
As part of the bank’s credit card operations, she managed a department of 47 team members, negotiated multi-million dollar vendor contracts, and supervised all vendor and portfolio acquisition due diligence functions and regulatory compliance.
After the bank sold, Jackie was hired by Visa Inc. where she held Senior Account Executive and Senior Director positions for sixteen years.
Considered to be a subject matter expert, she managed Visa’s largest global acquirer. Her responsibilities included all interactions between the client and Visa such as: marketing, risk management, compliance, and product pilots. She also coordinated the activities of every Visa account executive servicing that client in other parts of the world.
