The Eucharist is the greatest gift God can give us, because it is Jesus Himself!
Jesus hides Himself in the form of bread and wine so that we can easily receive Him and have His life flowing through us. Each Sacred Host and each drop of Precious Blood are truly Jesus - Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity.
Whoa. Let that sink in for a minute.
Jesus promised to be with us until the end of the age (Mt 28:20) and the primary way He does that is through the gift of the Eucharist.
He comes to us at every Mass, but that is not enough for Him: He invites us to come to Him whenever we can at Eucharistic Adoration.
Jesus Himself awaits our visits! He wants us to bring Him our worries, difficult situations, our fears, our hopes, our dreams, our questions, and our love - He just wants our presence with Him.
